Angelita Tolentino Holland-Young passed away at 1:11pm, on the 7th of March 2022. She was born on November 11, 1953 in San Jose, San Fernando, Pampanga in the Philippines to Tito Tolentino and Felicidad Esquivel. She was the second youngest of 8 children. She grew up in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines until she immigrated to the United States and created a home in North Edwards, California. She is preceded in death by her husband Abraham Young and sister Grace Brooks. She is survived by her son Jason Holland, daughters Rene and Rachel Holland, daughters-in-law Jamie Holland and Kristin Risinger, grandchildren Brendan, Jacqueline, and Jonathan Holland. As a mother and grandmother, she was always generous, loving, kind and a strong role model. She encouraged all to always “take the good from the bad” and to always help others without judgment. She showed her kindness and love to everyone she met with her genuine interest in others, her witty sense of humor, and her wonderful cooking skills. Everyone knew that you could show up to her house unexpectedly and she would start cooking for you. When she wasn’t staying busy in the kitchen, she loved to travel and go to concerts. She was usually the first person to dance whenever she heard music and would encourage everyone to join while spreading her joy. She was truly her namesake of Angelita, as she was a ‘Little Angel’ here on earth.
