Arturo Montesdeoca was born on February 12th 1961 to Porfirio Montesdeoca and Ana Maria Montesdeoca. He was the middle child of 12. After attending San Fernando School he enlisted in the United States Army in 1980 and was honorably discharged in 1984.
He then began his career in the private sector by cleaning porta-potties for National Rent A Fence and through his hard work and focus he worked his way up to become the regional manager for BFI construction rentals and even a small business owner of A&M productions.
In 1984 he met and fell in love with Emma Garcia, who he then married in 1985. Arturo and Emma went on to have 3 children Alejandra, Victoria and Arturo. In the last years of his life he shared many new adventures and created new memories with Lilia Eugenio Manual.
Throughout his life Arturo was a dedicated son, father, partner, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He was also a father figure and grandfather figure to many others. Through his words and actions he inspired, motivated and helped everyone he knew to reach their potential and beyond.
As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed sharing his love of fishing and camping with family and friends alike. Whether It was on the water or on the shore with family and friends as long as he had a rod in hand, that's where he was most at peace.
On September 1st, 2021 he passed away at his home in Lake Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his children Shady, Alejandra, Victoria, Arturo and his brothers, sisters and grandchildren.
