BARBARA HUGHES

It is with utter sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, and friend Barbara Ann Hughes. Barbara passed on September 28th, 2023 at the age of 64 years old. She leaves us after a brave, hard battle with cancer, and now can rest peacefully.

Barbara was a beloved and doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters: Heidi, Jamie, and Jessica; six grandchildren: CJ, Angelica, Vanessa, Xavier, Jackson, and Maverick; four great-grandchildren: Layla, Alayah, Kingsley, and Cisco; as well as her three bonus great-grandchildren: Aidan, Aaron, and Alec.

Barbara’s greatest joy in life came from being our mother and grandmother. Spending quality time with her growing family brought her the utmost happiness. Whether it was a family vacation or playing a game of cards, she rejoiced in being surrounded by those who loved her the most.

As we prepare to say our final goodbye to Barbara, let us please remember her bright smile, her signature eye roll, and her generous heart. Her love and her light will stay in our hearts forever. Please join us in celebrating Barbara’s life at Halley-Olsen Mortuary on October 21st, 2023 at 2pm.
