Beatrice Garcia obituary for services on April 20-21

Our beloved Bea died at age 86 at home on the morning of March 29 th with her husband, Albert, by her
side. She was born Beatrice to James and Ruma Basham on February 2 nd , 1937 and was the oldest of six
children: Chito, Eddie, Danny, Bertha and Rachel. Bea married her love, Albert Garcia on April 23 rd , 1966
and would have been married 57 years. She was a wonderful mother to Susie, Cathy, Albert Jr. and
Sharleen and adored her ten grandchildren. Bea loved spending time with her family and friends, trips to
Vegas and watching novellas. She worked for RCA, Bendix, and Yucca Elementary school in her early
years, and then went on to work for Lockheed on the L-1011 and B1-Bomber as an electrical inspector.
Bea loved her job while working for the aircraft companies and eventually retired from Rockwell/Boeing
as a quality control inspector for the Space Shuttles in 1992. We mourn her passing, but will always
celebrate her life as a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. We thank God for having her
in our lives for all those wonderful years.
