BERYL HUTCHINSON

Hutchinson, Beryl Elsie

Beryl was born April 1st, 1930 in Toronto, Canada. She went to be with our Lord July 17th, 2021 in Lancaster, CA. Beryl was preceded in death by her husband Vern. She is survived by her sisters Margaret Bint, Betty Diamond, and brothers Gord Brown and Billy Brown; son Randy Hutchinson, daughter-in-law Yolanda Hutchinson, daughters Laura Nevins (Timothy) and Tina Gellman (Joel). Grandchildren Leslie Rockwell (Patrick), Jill Lollis (Thomas), Lindsay Simons (Scott), Neal Hutchinson (Viviana), Joshua, Ilana and Shaina Gellman. Her great grandchildren Charlotte and Benjamin Simons, Jaxon Lollis and Mateo Hutchinson; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Beryl and husband Vern came to the United States in 1956 and lived in Van Nuys, CA until they settled in Lancaster in 1963. They opened their business, Hutchinson Bookkeeping, where Beryl worked alongside Vern for over 50 years. Beryl owned and operated the Swedish Kitchen restaurant in Lancaster from 1970 until 1983.

Beryl took joy in helping people and volunteered at Antelope Valley Hospital for many years. She loved her family dearly, including her many dogs she had over the years.

There will be a private family memorial to celebrate her life.
