Betty Ann Hunt (Rose), aged 74, passed away on July 7, 2024, in Lancaster, CA. Born on July 22, 1949, in Paris, France, she spent most of her years in the Antelope Valley and later lived in Henderson, NV, for 20 years, where she made many cherished friendships.
Betty dedicated her life to caring for her family and extending her kindness to others, especially animals in need. Despite being disabled for most of her life, she took immense pride in raising her children and was a beacon of love and support to those around her. Her home was often filled with laughter, and she had the unique ability to see the good in people that others often overlooked.
She is remembered fondly for her younger days when she loved to go out dancing, her time spent working in the yard, and her enjoyment of classic TV shows like "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Gun Smoke." Betty's life was a testament to her resilience and deep love for her family, who feel blessed to have been part of her journey. While we mourn her loss, we do take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
Betty is survived by her sister, Lynda; her son, Thomas; daughters, Tina, Tanya, and Tiffany; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Leland; mother, Pierrette; and brother, John.
A small memorial service celebrating her life was held at the family home, reflecting the intimate and personal nature of the gatherings she cherished. Betty's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love continues to inspire all who knew her.
