BEVERLY SORENSEN

Sorensen,Almerez,Beverly (1947-2021) Born to George and Estella Nordlof in Palo Alto Calif. November, 18,1947, Gently passed away at home with her husband and loved ones at her bedside. Married for 37 years in the Antelope Valley, Beverly is survived by her Husband,Cesar Almerez ,Sister in law Roberta Almerez Brother in laws Victor and Mark Almerez.Besides being our NASA Family Patriarc Queen Mother ,Beverly found time,for over fifty years to work as a community helper, then a coffee waitress at the A.V. Inn. then also a film extra and A bell telephone operator in Lancaster. Her favorite Highlight came with the The Tom Jones Concert, at Meri Kerr Park In Palmdale. Beverly is remembered for being the sweet shy determined perky teenager from Buena Park Calif. This Community Activist was always kind to strangers hospitable ,who never forgot everybody's birthday she knew, and always sent you home with a plate of food. Well Done Oh True and Faithfull servant of Our Lord Jesus, Amen. Our Family Thanks all our colleges and supporters at Edwards Air Force Base and NASA at North Base Edwards and to everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Services will be May 4, 2021 at 10am at Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals and Cremations 44831 N. Cedar Ave. Lancaster, CA 93534. Followed by burial on May 5,2021 at Riverside National Cemetery.
