Cecile Myers-Lockhart was a dancer first and foremost. She enjoyed line dancing, country dancing, and ballroom dancing. She was very good at all of them. Many of us in the Palmdale area learned to line dance by watching Cecile.
Cecile was also a prize winning quilter.
She was always game for a new adventure. She ziplined in Alaska and Hawaii. We danced on a glacier in Alaska, and she enjoyed helping mine for gold in the rivers and creeks of Northern California.
Cecile was an east coast transplant. She made her own way to Santa Monica and had a career as an office assistant for several engineering companies.
She was a woman of deep faith with love for God.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde.
Cecile will be missed.
