Colin Graeme Johnstone, 88, of Lancaster, California went to be
with his Lord and Savior Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his home.
Colin was born January 24, 1936, in Leongatha, Australia, eighth of
10 children.
Growing up on a 420-acre farm in Australia, he learned to
understand and use machinery, including a lathe, a source of
endless creativity. Later, as an engineer he worked for
Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation before migrating to the United
States in 1965 with an already impressive work resume. Once in the
United States he established a successful manufacturing business
around his patented phase converter invention in Palmdale,
California.
He served in ministry to help people know the Lord Jesus Christ and
the freedom of knowing the truth. His heart to help people was
paramount and has touched many whose lives are forever changed
by the teaching and ministry they have received through him. Each
one was important, spending hours with them individually at any
time, and one entire day a week dedicated to teaching the Word of
God and ministry by the Holy Spirit. He said, “You can count the
seeds in an apple but who can count the apples in a seed?”
In 2016 Colin became a citizen of the United States.
