Cynthia Jeschke, 77, of Lancaster, passed away after her short battle with cancer.
She was born in Burbank and later moved to La Crescenta with her family. She moved to the Antelope Valley in the early 80’s where she successfully ran her own business, Discount Sales. She worked at other retail stores such as H & E Hardware and The Home Depot and then obtained a position at a local insurance agency, Ruth Hoerner Insurance. After her mother’s passing, being that she could never sit still and be ‘retired’ she went on to become a school bus aide, assisting the children with special needs for Antelope Valley School Transportation Agency. She worked until the day she was diagnosed with cancer.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party no matter who the audience was. She also enjoyed playing softball in her younger years and bowled in a league. She loved playing bingo, going to watch the horses, playing cards and going to Vegas and Laughlin. She was an avid animal lover and rescued several cats over the years.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Cynthia Agnone, brothers Anthony and Thomas Agnone, and several cousins. She is survived by daughter, Roni Burd of Lancaster, grandson Evan Burd (Samantha), granddaughter Alyssa Burd, great-granddaughter Joanna Burd as well as nieces and nephews.
