DARRELL LEE HAWKE

Darrell Lee Hawke, 67, passed away December 14, 2024 in Lancaster CA. Darrell was born in Lancaster CA on March 20, 1957. He lived most of his life in the Antelope Valley. Attended Quartz Hill High School then transferred and graduated from La Familia High School. He served in the Navy from 1975-1979 on the USS Constellation as an Aviation Structural Mechanic earning the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. He continued his love for aviation in the civilian world working at Lockheed Martin and Rockwell international. For the last 20 years he has been in the golf cart business. Owning his own shop (AV Golf Carts) for almost a decade. He was a skilled mechanic with a passion for motorcycles, cars and dirt bikes. He will be dearly missed, but forever in our hearts. Darrell is survived by his partner Susan Kelley; his 3 daughters Somer (Vinny), Ashley (Chris), and Chelby; his sons Keith and Brandon; grandchildren Sophia and Everett; sisters Janet, Connie (Al), Phyllis (Donny), Regina (Jerry) and Julie (Reggie); brother Guy. As well as nephews Jeff, Jeremy, Eric and Ryan; niece Kari. He was preceded in death by his parents Artie Lou Porter and Phillip Hawke; brothers Keith and Larry; granddaughter Adalynn Rose.
