David Lee Keenan Sr. received his wings on December 25th, 2021.
On his way to be with other loved ones he first stopped in Okinawa, Japan from there he decided that he would go to Paris and then he would go to Ireland and Scotland before he made his way to be with all the others that preceded him.
My father had a great sense of humor, he was simple, quiet and amused at the smallest of things. He gave over 42 years of his life to this country and retired Master Sergeant from the US Air Force reserves. He loved photographing the smallest yet beautiful objects the eye could see. A member of the Antelope Valley for over 30 years he dedicated his life to helping members of the military and of course spending time with his family.
He is survived by his three children Suzann Reina and her husband Jose, their 4 children Merlisa and her husband Tim, their children Xavier and Vannessa, Felipe and Rodrigo, Analisa and her husband Daniel and Rafael who preceded his grandfather in death four years ago. David Keenan Jr. and his wife Melanie and their 4 children William, Henry, Sarah and her husband Lachlan and Annie. Stephen Keenan and his 2 children Cameron and his wife Tatiana and their children Melody, Aubrey, Kylie, Eva and Cameron Jr and Tat and her daughter Karissa and his ex-wife Norma Oppenheim.
Dave was a part of the American Legion Post 311 for many years and was also one of the original riders that would escort our military veterans as they passed to another life.
