Born in Illinois and moved to Lancaster, California where she became a lifelong resident.

Preceding her in death are her mother and father; husband, Kenneth Stevenson; sons, Eugene Burchett, Charles (Chuckie) Burchett, and Rick (Ricky) Burchett; and daughter, Deborah Peltier.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Lois) Burchett, Kevin Burchett, Darvin Burchett, and David Burchett; son-in-law Nev Peltier; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
