DOROTHY PETERSON

Dorothy C. Peterson, passed away quietly in her sleep on September 1, 2024 at her daughter, Robyn’s home in Tehachapi, Ca. Dorothy was the daughter of the late John and Grace of San Pedro, Ca. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William and her beloved son, Larry Richard Rodriques .

Dorothy attended San Pedro High School and took college courses at Orange Coast College in Orange County. Her Primary occupation was that of Claims Adjuster for The Automobile Club of Southern California where she retired from the Lancaster California branch several years ago . Dorothy resided in the home she owned in Quartz Hill, Ca for 55 years. She is survived by her brother Kenneth, her children Lee Rodriques, Cathy Rodriques, Jeff Anderson, and Robyn Metzger, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dorothy’s longevity of life is attributed to her passion for living a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition which she tried to teach and share with all those she cared about . She was known by many for her generosity and kind acceptance towards others. Dorothy will be missed and yet her loved ones know she is finally at peace and singing the hymns she loved with the Angels.

A memorial service in her honor will be held on Friday, September 20th, at 1:00 p.m. located at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church in Quartz Hill.  42217 55th St W, Quartz Hill, CA 93536
