Eberhard Winter

Eberhard “Ebe” H. Winter (1943- 2022)

Ebe was born on July 12, 1943, to Gerda and Heinz Winter in Stettin, Germany.
He was the oldest of three children with one sister Brigitte and one brother Daniel.
Ebe’s family fled Germany in 1953 to start a new life of freedom in America. They lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin upon arrival and later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Ebe started his career with the Boy Scouts of America in Utah and in 1975 he transferred to the Antelope Valley to continue his career with them and was on the Los Angeles County Counsel of Boy Scouts. While in the Antelope Valley Ebe served as Public Relations Director for various organizations.
Such as United Way, Boeing, and Lancaster Community Hospital. Ebe was an active member of the Kiwanis for many years.

Ebe is survived by his wife; Lilia Winter, his son; Erik Winter, his sister; Brigitte Smith (Justin), his brother; Daniel Winter (Antje), his Three Stepchildren; Dennis Mortimer (Deborah), Robert Mortimer (Alma), Erika Graham (Michael) and Seven Step- Grandchildren and Four Step-Great Grandchildren. Ebe is preceded in death by his parents Gerda and Heinz, and Stepdaughter Heidi Christopherson.
