Edward Curry was born on June 25, 1958 to Billie Jean Burtch and Edward Lee Curry in Memphis Tennessee.
He was the third of nine children to include Kenneth Renee Curry who preceded him in death in 1977, Theresa Curry-Mc Guire, Pamela Curry, Dewayne Curry, Keith Curry, Gregory Curry, Sean Curry, and Chris Curry.
Edward was reared in Pacoima California where he attended Filmore Elementary, Maclay Junior High School, Sylmar and San Fernando High Schools.
Following high school, Edward was employed in a multitude of careers to include LA Unified School District, Adelphia Cable, Symes Toyota, and Central Christian Church where he retired from in 2019.
Edward married Bertha Boyd in 1980 and from that Union three children where born. Edniesha Nicole Curry, Edward Audwin Curry Jr., and Kenneth Renee Curry.
Following the resolution of his first marriage, Edward wed Jenoah Marnik Haywood in February 2000. From that Union three children where conceived Shyee Kala Curry, Kayja Marnik Curry, and Genoah Edward Curry.
Edward was a loving friend, father, and husband that always greeted everyone with a smile, funny comment, or a warm conversation. In his spare time Edward enjoyed rebuilding classic vehicles and traveling with his family.
Edward completed his journey and purpose on earth on August 9, 2020 at his home in Lancaster California surrounded by his wife and children. He will truly be missed.
