Edward Everett Freeman, 77, passed away Apr 16, 2018
in Lancaster, CA.
Ed was born in Lynn, MA on Oct 20, 1940 to Allison
and Wilma Freeman. On Feb 26, 1966,
he married the former Genevieve Kay O’Connor in Palm Desert, CA. They had 3 children and provided foster care for many more. Ed served in the US Army for 3 years. He was an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration for 28
years. Upon retirement, Ed and Kay lived in Harmony, MD for several years before returning to Lancaster, CA. Ed enjoyed
reading, working in his garage, crossword puzzles, walking, and making friends wherever he went.
Ed is survived by his children: Robin Chartier; Suzi
McLaughlin; and Tony Freeman; grandchildren: Curtis, Trevor, Alex, Katie, Connor, Kassidy, Tyler, Jessica; and sister Allison Butterfield.
Funeral service will be Mon. Apr 30, 2018 at 10:00AM
