Francisco Javier Hernandez, went home to be with our Lord on June 13, 2018.
He was born October 25, 1965, in Santiago Chile.
Francisco lived in Lancaster California most of his life and graduated in 1983 from Antelope Valley high school.
After graduation Francisco was very proud to serve in the United States Navy, He also served for a time in the Army Reserve and was a volunteer firefighter for Kern County. Francisco was very proud to be an American and serve this great country in any way he could.
Francisco worked in healthcare after his time in the military, then went on to work as a peace officer, until the time of his illness for the State of California
Francisco loved and adored his family, he is survived by his beloved wife Sherry, father Juan and Stepmother Dolores, his Mother Sonia and Stepfather Louise, two sisters Loretta and Veronica, a stepsister Suzette and a stepbrother Ted.
A brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lisa and Russell.
He has seven children Christina, Brittney, Christian, Nichole, Ashley, Taylor and Tyler. Seven grandchildren, Several uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Francisco always had a multitude of great friends.
Francisco had a passion for life, he loved ( pizza ) food, cooking and dining out, he always mentioned how he loved his grandmothers cooking
Francisco was a strong second amendment supporter he enjoyed building rifles, target practice and teaching others firearm safety and the skill of marksmanship.
Francisco had a contagious personality everyone loved being in his presence he knew no stranger. His humor was undeniable, he was very well liked and was a man of boldness and great loyalty!
Francisco was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents a cousin and aunt.
Francisco fought his cancer first with the strength from our Lord Jesus Christ, the people who surrounded and encouraged him every day, and an abundance of courage, he lived each day with promise and hope for a cure.
