Gerald Blundell

Gerry Blundell, 60, of Lancaster, CA, passed away, July 10, 2017, surrounded by his family. Born in Lamar, CO, Gerry grew up the youngest of 5 children in La Puente, CA before moving to the Antelope Valley. His love of education drew him into becoming a teacher and administrator for the Southern Kern Unified School district for the next 28 years. Teachers play a huge role in shaping lives which is evident with those who have had the privilege to meet “Mr. Blundell” who always wanted to inspire the best in each student. He was a beloved husband, proud father, treasured Papa.
Gerry is survived by his wife, Nancy; 3 children, Emily (Kyle) of Santa Clara, CA, Aaron (Briana) of Palmdale, CA, and Scott (Nicole) of Palmdale, CA; 7 wonderful grandchildren, Breanna, Aaron Jr, Austin, Collin, Brooklyn, Carson, Owen; And Gerry’s twin sister, Sherry. Gerry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lucille, and 3 brothers, Richard, Butch, and Steven.
