Thompson, Harry Edward Jr
Born Jan. 24, 1957 in Vernon, TX, passed away on Aug. 7, 2017 near Edwards AFB, CA. Harry grew up in Vernon, TX and attended Midwestern State University where he earned his degree and commissioned as an officer in the United States Army. He served honorably for 20 years before he began a career as a Farmer's Insurance Agent and later as a Manager with Northrop Grumman. Harry was an avid motorcyclist who enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and cycling. He was an exemplary leader, faithful husband, and loving father. Harry is survived by his wife Janna, two sons Trey and Benjamin, and his brother Ronnie. Harry loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of First Baptist Church in Barstow, CA. A memorial service will be held at Faith United Methodist Church in Vernon, TX on August 18, 2017 3:00 pm. Interment will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:30 am at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA. Area stage #22.
