Heidi Christopherson

Heidi Christopherson (Mortimer) of Rosamond, died peacefully in her home on April 16th, 2016 at the age of 46 after a long battle with cancer.
Heidi was born on June 28th, 1969 in San Diego, CA. She attended Saugus High School, and furthered her education at Antelope Valley Medical College. She fulfilled her dream of becoming an instructor at Charter College as her final career.
Heidi is survived by her mother, Lilia Winter (Ebe Winter) of Lancaster, Ca; husband, Bruce Christopherson; children, Brittany Alverdi (Hunter Lane), Christopher Alverdi, Allison Alverdi; siblings, twin brother Dennis Mortimer (Deborah Mortimer), Robert Mortimer(Alma Mortimer), Erika Graham(Michael Graham); grandmother, Fabiola Romero; her pride and joy, granddaughter Charlie Lane. She is preceded in death by her father Dennis J. Mortimer and Grandfather Miguel A. Romero.
A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday April 29th, 2016 at Halley Olsen Murphy (Lancaster, Ca), interment at 1:00 pm at Desert Lawn Memorial (Palmdale, Ca), with a reception to follow at Palmdale Women’s Club. Chaplain Paul Ferguson will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Heidi’s life. The family would like to thank Gayle, Channa, Noelan, and Irma from ProCare Hospice for their dedication and care.
