James Phelps

James Orville Phelps was born August 24th 1928 in Richmond, Ohio. He passed away peacefully on a hot summer's morning of July 23rd, 2016. He was in the Air Force stationed at Burtwood, England. He met and married the love of his life Jean in Warrington, England on October 2nd, 1954. Then returning to the states in May 1956, Jim worked at Edwards Air Force Base in Rosamond California for 30 years then retiring as the Supervisor for the sheet Metal Department. Memories of Jim are cherished by his loving wife Jean, daughter Sharon (Rob), grandson Ryan (Annette), great grandson Nixon, brother Tom of Plano, Texas and sister Ethel of Mason, Ohio. It was Jim's wish to be cremated and not to have a memorial service. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals & Cremations in Lancaster California.
