Joyce White

On November 21st 1950 Joyce Irene Jordan was born in Tehachapi, CA to Earl and Afton Jordan. On February 11th 2020 Joyce Irene White went home to be with her Lord and Savior. Joyce grew up in Mojave, CA.. She had one older brother John and one younger sister Vickie. She went to Mojave High School where she played bass clarinet, cymbals in the marching band and loved to swim on the swim team. Joyce went to Pasadena Community College where she met the love of her life Tommy White. Tom and Joyce got married on August 1st 1969. They had their first son Robert White on September 21st 1971. Their second son Ryan White was born on December 30th 1975, and they had their final bundle of joy Gabriel White on July 29th 1980. She worked for WIC as a Nutritional Assistance and also as a Secretary in the AV Hospital Emergency Room. She volunteered over 10,000 hours on the crisis intervention Support Team at AV Hospital. Helping families through some of the roughest times in their lives. She was always ministering to people no matter where she was. Even as a patient during her many stays in the hospitals. Joyce was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad Afton and Earl Jordan, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Dorothy and James White and her brother John Jordan. Joyce is survived by her sister Vickie Santiago, Husband Tom White, their three sons Robby, Ryan and Gabriel White, daughter-in-laws Irene and Amanda, her Grandkids Gabby, Jordyn, Jacob, Nikolaus, Kaitlyn, Ezekiel, Trinity, Josiah, Keegan, Naomi, Emmanuel and Nehemiah and Great Grandchildren Bexlie and Daxton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joyce will truly be missed and this world won't be the same without her shining light.
