Kevin was born in Long Beach, CA, to Barbara Jean and James Robbins; he was the second of 5 children. He grew up in Corona, CA and moved to the Antelope Valley, where he resided for about 40 years. He graduated from Quartz Hill High School in 1984, and served in the U.S. Navy, earning the rank of Quarter Master 2nd class, and developed a love of the sea, and travel.
After he returned home from service, he worked in the Aerospace industry, and earned his A and P License. He became involved in the educational field and was the Director of Security at Littlerock and Palmdale High Schools. He valued education and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business, and his Master’s Degree in Education. He taught Health and Special Education.
He was an avid golfer, “fisher-man”, and hunter. He enjoyed poker, camping, and motorcycles (street and dirt), NASCAR, and rooting his beloved Steelers on to victory!
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Robbins and is survived by his wife, Kathleen Robbins, his son Spencer, his grandson Justin Dude; his son, Seth, daughter in-law, Rachael, granddaughter, Cayden Lady, and grandson, Mason Man; his father and step-mother, James and Beverly Robbins. His older brother Jimmy, his wife Lisa, his niece, and nephews Jamie, James and Ryan; his brother, Joe his wife Kelly, his nephew Joey and niece Shawnee. His sister, Denise, and her husband Bobby, his nephew Derek, and niece Veronica. His sister Deana, and her husband Steve, his niece Vanessa, and nephew Christopher, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and colleagues; all whom he loved dearly.
Kevin was a registered donor. His gifts will help to provide sight and healing.
He was a good man, with a good heart. He loved his family and friends, and was loved in return. He will be missed by all.
