Kristin Ann Reams, a long-time resident and retired school teacher of Lancaster, California passed away peacefully on October 3, 2017.
Kristin was born on July 9, 1936 in Coalinga California to Virginia and Julius Thomsen. She graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from Westmont College and later achieved a successful career in the field of teaching. She and her husband, George “Bud” Reams also of Lancaster, California wed in 1959 and recently celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary.
Kristin was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was also a devout Christian whose faith in Christ motivated her daily activities and interpersonal relationships.
She was known as a generous, caring, and compassionate person whose mission was to always shed love and kindness wherever she went. Kristin appreciated the simplicities of life such as, spending time with family, to the sweet aroma of spring flowers, to the sound of chirping birds in the early morning. Her sweet disposition was known to all, close to her heart.
She is survived by her husband George “Bud” Reams, son Brian Reams and his wife Sally her daughter Kimberly Van Wuffen and her husband Clinton, grandchildren, Noah Reams, and Laura Copus and her husband Sean, and Great-Granddaughter Quinn Copus.
She will dearly missed.
