Laura Coutu

Laura Coutu, beloved mother and friend, took God’s hand on March 31, 2021 at the age of 95. Laura worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in the Van Nuys area before moving to Lancaster with her husband Leonard in 1959. She volunteered with many charitable organizations in the valley, including serving as a teacher’s aide at Monte Vista Elementary School for 7 years and as treasurer for the Antelope Valley High School Band Booster Club for 3 years. Laura was also very active in numerous band fundraisers. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family, especially her son Dale.
