Leonard Rohaley was born July 29, 1936, in Grindstone, Pennsylvania. On July 16, 2023, Leo went home to be with our Lord, passing peacefully with family by his side. He is now joined with the love of his life, Virginia Sue (Ginger), their son John, grandson Leonard II, and family who have gone before him. He and his family lived in Bell, California, before moving to Leona Valley in 1976, where he and his wife Ginger raised their five children. Leo was a dedicated father to his children and grandchildren and an active member in his small Leona Valley community for many years. He is known for his kind and generous spirit, always with a smile in his eyes.
Leo was a highly regarded public servant as a Firefighter Specialist and Crew Leader with the Los Angeles County Fire Department for 30 years. Leo responded to several communities in LA County and neighboring cities, providing aid during countless emergencies.
