Lisa James

Lisa Ann Roberson was born on November 8th, 1955, to Leon and Bertha Roberson. Lisa was the second oldest of four children: Audwin Keith, Byron Owen, and her baby sister Lois Lynn.
On January 21, 1978, Lisa married her loving husband Ronald Johnson James and they began building their life together. Lisa leaves behind her devoted husband and their three children: Rhonda, Alexandria (Diane), and youngest son, Aaron. She also leaves behind son-in-law Gabriel, daughter-in-law Da'Nae as well as three beautiful grandchildren: Noah, Kyrie and Maya.
As many of us know, Lisa was a soul filled with laughter and so much love. When you talked to her, she was likely to tell a joke and start laughing to tears, which also caused you to laugh until you cried as well. Lisa's quiet disposition made others love her. She was always smiling and she brought joy into every room she entered. In the good times and bad, Lisa always found positivity in the situation and made sure she shared it with us.
The morning after Lisa passed a rainbow could be seen in the sky above. This was Lisa’s way of making sure to put another smile on our faces. She asked God to let us know she is happy and wants us to be happy as well. Even though it seems difficult for us right now, Lisa would tell us - like she has so many times before - “Just pray and trust God. He will get you through anything”.
May her sweet and loving soul rest peacefully in the presence of God.
