After her daughters were grown, she became a licensed beautician and worked for Edna Adams. She was a long time member of the Eastern Star. Family was her first priority. She was the spiritual and emotional center of her family. Several generations of her family felt comfortable confiding in her because they knew she would never repeat a confidence. She was strong, uncomplaining, kind person that cannot be replaced. A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 @ 10:00 a.m. at Halley Olsen Murphy in Lancaster, California.
