Manuel is survived by his mom Natalia, sister Alice, Brother Joe, Children Anita, Gloria, Angel, And Albert, 13 Grand kids, and 9 Nieces and nephews. Manuel was born in El Paso Texas to Natalia and Manuel Quevedo Sr. and is the eldest of 3 siblings. Manuel was raised in the San Fernando valley and attended San Fernando High school.

Pops Had a very funny side that many didn't know, he could make the most serious person laugh out loud. Recently he was in the living room watching t.v and I walked in and tried to change the channel, and it wasn't working, so I ask him if he knew what was wrong wit the remote, he looks at me with a serious face and says i have no idea and continues to watch t.v. so I figured it out, and the remote was deprogrammed from the t.v. So I look at pops and ask again, did you happen to do anything to the remote? And with out missing a beat he says nope, and as soon as he said nope, he begins to raise his coffee mug slowly till it was covering his face from my view. After a few seconds of me staring at him, he lowers his coffee mug just low enough for me to see that mischievous smile and i just started laughing so hard. It struck me kinda weird because we were alone at home and he was watching cartoons when i came into the living room. Pops was never electronically inclined.

His most beloved profession was security, which he took great pride in serving and protecting. Pops Loved his family dearly. He lived for his children, and willed himself to live as long as possible for his grand kids. Manuels passion was to be there for them, whether it was a simply picking them up from school, a medical procedure, or a birth, pops was always the first one there. As our hearts are heavy with sorrow & eyes filled with tears, you will be missed dearly, but will never be forgotten. "We Will Always Love You Pops"
