Margaret Montague

Margaret “Marge” Montague, 75, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, September 1st, 2023 in Lancaster, CA, with her family by her side. She was born in Nebraska to Scottie and Josephine Mathieson. She was married to Robert Montague for 51 years. She was known for her delicious recipes and entertaining game nights. You always knew that you were in her car by the 1950’s - 1970’s music playing. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, reading by the pool, playing games with friends or family and relaxing with her granddogs.

She is survived by her husband Robert; their sons Matt (Monika) & Michael (Tiffany), stepdaughter Rhonda; brother Eddie; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of extended family members and many long time friends from around the world.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30th, at 3pm at Halley Olsen Mortuary in Lancaster, CA. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you make donations in her name to HannahsHopeFund.org
