Maria Barone

Born May 18, 1935 in Throop, Pennsylvania. Passed away on January 10, 2019, in Carlsbad, California. Maria was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 60 years, and was the former co-owner of Barone's and Gino's Restaurant for 30 years. She is survived by son Robert (Marianne) of Irvine, California, daughter Marisa (Romeo) Apostol of Carlsbad, California, as well as four grandchildren Dillon, Michael, Patrick, and Christine. Sue is also survived by brother Vince Politano of Lancaster, California and sister Loretta (Stan) Yount of Lancaster along with numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Chapel, Lancaster. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lancaster with interment immediately following at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, 43121 70th Street West, Lancaster.
