Marion Carroll

Carroll, Marion M., born November 26, 1930, in Whitinsville, MA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 23, 2018 in Lancaster, CA at the age of 87. Marion was preceded in death by her husband F. Leon Carroll, stepson Robert Carroll, and great-grandson Henry Wyatt Bober. She is survived by her sons Michael, Thomas, and Daniel (Daena); daughters Kathleen Sheppard (Phil), Kelly McKinnon (Martin), Colleen Strobbe (Melvin), and Margaret Erin Griggs (Tim); stepdaughters Cindy Hugart (Gary) and Francie Jahner (Dennis); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marion graduated Cum Laude from Annhurst College in 1953 where she was senior class president. She went on to teach in Whitinsville, MA and Maricopa, CA before moving to Lancaster, where she taught 6th grade at Sierra School from 1964 to 1987. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Retired Teachers Association.
