Martha Elvia Urrutia, age 76, loving mother of five to Luis, Naldo, Alexis, Rene and Mary Zelaya. Passed away in the mid hours of June 9, 2022, battling health complications. Martha was born in 1945 in Tela Atlantida, Honduras (Central America) surrounded by her family, she had seven brothers and three sisters.
Martha was an extraordinary woman who loved all her family and home life. She dedicated herself to her loved ones and her religion; she was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness on July 7, 2007. Martha was a very creative and spontaneous woman. Her early career was as a Seamstress and Designer later becoming an entrepreneur. She was very generous and caring to all. Her friendliness and caring nature left an impression amongst many people. She had a positive outlook on life and was very optimistic. Her resilience was admirable. Martha was a strong woman.
Martha had many hobbies, she enjoyed preaching, listening to her favorite music, and dancing. Her favorite singers were Camilo Sesto, Eros Ramazzotti, Tina Turner, Chicago, and Celia Cruz amongst many others. She enjoyed traveling and visiting her family and friends. She loved fashion and had a beautiful and bold sense of style. She was a modern woman ahead of her time. She spent her last years enjoying her peaceful, quiet life. Her favorite things to do included- sewing, going outside for some fresh air, watching the garden, and enjoying the morning sun. She loved having a nice hot cup of coffee with her pan dulce every morning. She enjoyed watching her novelas and movies in bed. Her favorite food to eat was soup and her Honduran cuisine of course. She remained positive and full of tranquility in her last days.

Martha Urrutia is survived by three sons- Luis, Alexis, Rene Zelaya and one daughter- Mary Zelaya. As well as all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved and cared for by many.
