Matta Whitten

Matta Pearl Whitten, “Aunt Mut,” 86, born May 10, 1929 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, passed away at home in Lancaster, California, on Thursday, March 17, 2016.

Matta worked at Winchell's Donut House and made many wonderful friends during her years there.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Cecil Whitten. She is survived by her loving brother, Odis Neeley, her dear friend and companion, Barry Holm, and her nieces and nephews, Melody LeBarron, Sandy (Darren) Lamb, Nicole (James) Graventi, Caleb, Dakota, Britney, Bailey and Ariana. She is also survived by many numerous other family members and friends.

Her nieces and nephews will always remember her feisty spirit and how very proud she was of each of them.
