Milton Cox was born on September 28, 1939, in Dumas Arkansas to the late Arthur and Vera Norman Cox. He was a traveling man with a preference of driving or riding one of his horses. He made friends across the country from Chicago,
Illinois, Los Angeles, California, Ivanhoe, Texas, until he laid his rest in Lancaster, California.
Having served in the Navy, starting a family, joining the police force, making guest appearances in Hollywood movies, embracing the buffalo soldier heritage, and riding in the Pasadena Rose Bowl parade, Milton lived a full life.
Once Milton retired in 2001, he took more time to check on loved ones, tend to his horses, watch westerns, and listen to the blues.
His laugh and smile was contagious and his heart generous. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Milton Cox, the man, the myth, the legend.
