Monica M. Ojeda

Monica Ojeda went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2018. Born in Mexico, May 4, 1939, she came to Lancaster after marrying her husband Eugenio “Cheno” in November 1963. They made their home in Lancaster and had three children, Naty, Frankie and Eugenio Jr. Monica was a devout Catholic and very involved with Sacred Heart Catholic church. She was member of the Guadalupana’s Club of Sacred Heart and also served as its President. Being around all her family and friends brought so much joy to her, especially her grandchildren. She was always making new friends everywhere she went. She loved being in her garden, was an amazing cook and was especially known for her tamales. She was married to the love her life for 40 years before his passing in 2004. She is now reunited with him in heaven and smiling upon us all. Monica was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.

Services will be held Monday, July 30th at Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals & Cremations in Lancaster, CA, 4pm - 8pm, with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lancaster, CA.
