Patricia May

Born March 19, 1944 in Albuquerque, N.M, passed away on March 17, 2016 in Palmdale, California. Patricia grew up in Kentucky and Arizona, she went to Arizona State University. Patricia lived in the Antelope Valley for 31 years, her hobbies were travelling and computers. She was awarded "Best Teacher of the Year" in Lakenheath, England. Patricia is survived by her husband Jon L. May, her sister Chari and brother in law Jim J. Anicich, niece Tami Anicich, nephew John Anicich. Patty dedicated her life to teaching until she was stricken with chronic health problems that forced her to retire. Teaching children was her life. She also enjoyed to travel until she was unable to do so. Patty and her husband Jon enjoyed 45 years of marriage. Patty will be missed. A viewing will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Halley Olsen Murphy Mortuary. A service will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Junipero Serra Parish, burial to follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster, California.
