Paul Michael Dolphin

March 25, 1962 — February 14, 2024

Palmdale, CA

Paul Michael Dolphin was born on March 25th, 1962, in England to Michael and Sylvia Dolphin. At the young age of 9 months Paul and his family moved to the United States. Paul was very proud to become a U.S. citizen when he turned 18. He had various occupations over the years including making donuts, warehouse manager, and his final occupation as a Security officer for 30 years. Paul enjoyed watching many sports and enjoying a Dilly Dilly aka Bud Light occasionally. Some of his favorites to watch were L.A. Kings hockey; Miami Dolphins, Seahawks, and UCLA football; Formula One racing; and Nascar. He loved taking many adventures with his family including the zoo and many different museums such as: the air museum, automotive museum, the wax museum, and his favorite Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Paul loved the outdoors and taking the family camping. In the beginning he started in a tent and the weather man was never correct cutting some trips shorter than planned. However, it made for great stories. During the winter months Paul had many hobbies such as jigsaw puzzles and building model airplanes, tanks, and cars. He loved to get the newspaper everyday as he loved word searches and crossword puzzles to challenge his brain. His love for music included Pink Floyd, REM, The Beatles, and even some country songs. He would later share his love of music with his kids and grandkids. Paul was very proud to have his 5 grandkids. He enjoyed teaching Michelle, Jake, and Scott to swim in the backyard. He loved watching their recitals as all three enjoyed music as much as he did. He was able to take one camping trip with Michelle, Jake, and Scott and share his love for the outdoors. Four years ago, he got a huge surprise when he learned his youngest granddaughter was on the way. Watching her grow gave him many smiles. When he learned his youngest grandson was on the way he was over the moon. He was at least able to hold little Collin. Paul was able to achieve a few things from his bucket list such as a cruise to Alaska for his 35th wedding anniversary. He also got to enjoy a trip to Disney World with his wife, son, daughter, son in law, and the eldest three grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his father Michael Dolphin and is survived by his wife Margaret of 37 years, his sister Karen, his mother Sylvia, his nephew Jason, brother-in-law Rolando, his son Brian, his daughter Diana, his son in law Kris, and his grandchildren Michelle, Jake, Scott, Anastasia, and Collin.
