Peter was born to Severo and Amada Lueras in Phoenix, Arizona, and grew up in Alameda, California., where he attended Castlemont High School in Oakland. Our father was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the Army.
A resident of the AV for 4 1/2 years, Peter was the CEO of Casa Grande Industries and Paramount Drilling and Pump company. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, boating and visiting Ensenada.
Preceded in death by his wife, Toni Ingrahm Lueras, Peter is survived by daughters: Sharon A. Lueras of Sacramento, California, Julie Shemano Lueras of San Rafael, California, and Elysa Beth Lueras of Sacramento, California.; grandchildren: Saundra Rochelle O'Shea, Sophia Ray Shemano, Kellen Lueras Parrish, Leah Esther Parrish; great grandchildren: DemetriBernard O'Shea; sisters: Evan Griego, Evelyn Lucero, Sophia Pointer, Mary Lueras, Lucille Nicoloro; 15 nieces and 10 nephews, and loving canine companions: Swifty, Luther, Rudy, Alonzo, and Fritz.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 am, at Father Serra Parrish Church, 42121 60th Street West, Quartz Hill, California 93536. Presided over by our father's first cousin, Father Charles Lueras, of Santa Paula, California. Immediately following, there will be a reception for friends and family at our father's home.
