In loving memory of Pittaya Chartsermsak
It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved father, Pittaya Chartsermsak, who left us on October 31st, 2024 at 10:15am, after a courageous battle with lung conditions. Surrounded by family at AV Medical center, he left this world in peace, carrying with him the love and prayers of all who knew him.
Pittaya was a dedicated Thai government teacher for 37 years, sharing his knowledge, kindness, and faith with countless students throughout his career. His love for teaching was more than a job - it was his calling. He influenced and inspired not only his students but everyone around him, always encouraging growth, compassion, and resilience. After a lifetime of service in education, he retired in America, where he was blessed to be with his first born, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with family, faith, and peace.
A man of profound faith, Pittaya prayed diligently - not only for himself but for everyone he loved. He believed in the power of prayer and taught his family to rely on faith, to find comfort and strength in statue of Buddha, and to turn prayer as a resource of guidance and solace. His devotion to prayer and his spiritual wisdom have left a legacy of faith that will carry his family forward.
More than a father, he was a friend, mentor, and constant source of support. Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, he was known for his kindness, and generous spirit. Whether through his warm laughter, his encouraging words, or the countless ways he showed love, Pittaya left an imprint in our hearts that will never fade.
He is survived by his wife Saisunee Chartsermsak, his sons, Ekapol Chartsermsak and Nutpaphat Chartsermsak and his two grandsons, Jedniphat Chartsermsak and William Chartsermsak, and countless family members here in the states and in Thailand, who will forever cherish his memory. His legacy of love, faith, and compassion will live on in each of us.
A service to honor Pittaya’s life will be held on November 21st, 2024 at Halley Olsen Murphy Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to come together and pay respect to the beautiful life he led and the faith he instilled in those he left behind.
Dad, thank you for your love, your prayers, and the wisdom you shared and taught us. You will forever be in our hearts.
