Robert Michael Rasmussen, 49, died Thursday October 15, 2015, in a tragic flash flood in Palmdale, California. While driving from work, the force of the rushing water and mud swept his van into an unsecured catch basin, where he was discovered covered by six feet of mud nearly five days later.
