Robert “Robb” Sorg III
August 8, 1973 – November 29, 2024
Robert “Robb” Sorg III, affectionately known as “El Jeffy,” was born on August 8, 1973, in Panorama City and spent much of his life in the Antelope Valley. A man of boundless energy and unmatched devotion, Robb lived his life with purpose, passion, and an open heart.
A master craftsman and skilled professional, Robb found fulfillment in his work with Inland Commercial Inc., alongside his trusted friend and business partner, Rich Parkhurst. But his greatest joy was not found in his work alone—it was in the relationships he nurtured and the love he poured into his family and friends.
Robb had a way of making the ordinary extraordinary. Whether it was his love for RC cars and planes, his talent for barbecuing and smoking meats, or his adventures riding motorcycles, Robb brought life, excitement, and joy to every moment. He relished the simple things—backyard get-togethers, shared laughter, and the comfort of being surrounded by those he loved.
He wasn’t just the glue that held his family together; he was the spark that made everything brighter. Robb gave selflessly, loved fiercely, and lived fully. As Matthew 5:9 reminds us: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Robb embodied this spirit, always bringing people together, fostering unity, and putting family above all else.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Rose; his dog Midge his twin brother, Richard Sorg, and sister, Charlie Hodgden ; his stepmother, Linda Sorg; and his loving partner, Melissa Torres. Robb was a cherished uncle to countless nieces and nephews and leaves behind a legacy of love that extends far beyond his immediate family.
Robb was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Sorg Jr.; his grandmother, Janis Sorg; and his grandfather, Robert Sorg Sr.
Robb was truly one of a kind—a man who could never be replaced. To know him was to love him, and to lose him is to feel a profound void that words cannot fill. He touched the lives of everyone he met with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. Though we are lost without him, we carry his memory in our hearts, forever grateful for the gift of his presence in our lives.
Celebration of life being held at his home in Pearblossom in spring of 2025.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and forever dear.”
