Bob died on April 30, 2018, at the age of 89. Bob was born on July 20, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska. At the age of 16, he served in the US Merchant Marines and served in the US Navy during World War II. He moved from Cheyenne, Wyoming to the Antelope Valley in 1958. He worked for Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department until retiring from the Detective Bureau at Antelope Valley Station in 1987. Bob and his wife Betty traveled to all 50 State Capitals together. He loved traveling, country music and motorcycles. Bob is survived by his children Donald (Carol) Waldron and Janet (Mark) Chapman, as well his grandchildren Corrine (Steven) Irwin, Brent Chapman, and Sara Waldron, and his great grandsons Jameson and Ryland Irwin. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Waldron, his son Kent Waldron, and his granddaughter Lisa Waldron.
