Ronald Routolo

On March 17, 2023, Ronald Arthur Routolo of Lancaster, California was called home to the Lord. His wife Brenda of 41 years, their 5 children Victoria, Kelly, Carrie, Ronnie, and Rachel, their spouses, fiancée, and 7 grandchildren were at his side as he peacefully went to meet God. Ron served in the United States Army for 16 years, where he reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served overseas and abroad as a Computer Programmer. He worked for Lockheed Martin for the last 34 years as a Software Engineer/Consultant. He was a double Major with a BA in Computer Science. For the past 21 years he served at Sacred Heart Church as a Permanent Deacon. He also assisted St. Serra and St. Mary’s Catholic Churches when asked. He served as a Stational Deacon for Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles for 4 years when first Ordained in 2002. He was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, helped with so many ministries they are too numerous to mention. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, employee, and a true Servant of the Lord. He was a wonderful brother, brother-in-law, and uncle to countless nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. This truly kind, humble, loving man will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved us all…More will be shared at the Vigil and Reception.

Vigil will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lancaster, CA on April 13, 2023 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lancaster, CA on April 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with the Graveside Service to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery on 70th West and L in Lancaster, CA.
