Rosendo Figueroa Garcia, 67, of Lancaster, Ca, passed away on December 1st after a brief battle with illness.
Rosendo was born on August 31st, 1955 to Guadalupe and Filipa Figueroa Garcia in Mexico. Growing up in Mexico for his childhood, Rosendo worked on his family ranch tending to livestock and crops. At the age of 18 he came to the United States to pursue the American dream, and that he did.
Rosendo had a great work ethic instilled by his parents, which led him into the restaurant industry starting from the bottom working long hours and tirelessly to accomplishing his dream of owning his very own restaurant.
Rosendo was a father to three kids he loved very much Ivan, Lilian, Teresa. He was a kind, giving, thoughtful, loving father to his kids. Rosendo would always think and put his kids first over anything. He lived for his kids. Rosendo was known for being a kind soul, willing to extend a helping hand. He was joyful, his laugh was infectious. He loved to listen to classic rock such as The Eagles and always enjoy Spanish music such as Los Bukis. Rosendo also loved rodeos and would always be seen watching in event. He enjoyed cooking with his family. Lastly, he was religious man, a Catholic man who always believed in God and did everything in God’s name.
Rosendo was a father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will always be loved and he will always be missed, but he will never be forgotten.
