Suellen Yates

Suellen Rountree Yates was born on February 15,1946 in Glendale, California. She passed away on November 3, 2022 in Lancaster, California at the age of 76. She grew up in Sun Valley, California graduating in 1963 from John H. Francis Polytechnic High School. She was a Job’s Daughter and a member of the Dorian’s a service club.

She married David Yates in 1965 and they had one son David. She worked in banking and finance in the Los Angeles area. In 1992 she moved to Lancaster. She worked at the Lancaster State Prison until she retired. She has been ill for several years.

She is survived by her sister Cynthia Valdivia, nieces Cynthia Kipp (Jerry) and Rachel Dailey, her nephews Dr. Richard Bermudes (Katrina) and Frank (Randy) Bermudes (Althea) along with three great nieces and four great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son David, her sister Elizabeth, and her parents Frank and Czarina Rountree.

She made an impact on a lot of people’s lives and will be missed.
