Suzanne Marie Hargrove
It is with great sadness that the family of Suzanne Hargrove of Onyx, CA announces her passing on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018.
Suzanne Marie Hargrove was born to Joseph and Kathleen (Heckathorn) Bondar on January 4, 1954. Suzanne grew up in Simi Valley, CA and attended Belwood Elementary, Valley View Jr. High, Simi High and graduated from Apollo High in 1972. It was during these years she met her lifelong best friend Nancy Hargrove, who introduced her to her brother Daniel Hargrove, the love of her life. Suzanne and Daniel were wed on September 14, 1978 and moved to Canyon Country where they welcomed their daughter Trisha in 1980. The family later moved to Acton, CA where Suzanne worked as a bartender at “Paul’s Place”while managing their large ranch for 7 years. They then moved to Palmdale, CA, where Suzanne started her cleaning service. Their final residence was in Onyx, CA where Suzanne was the beloved cook for the VFW Post 7665 as well as the “Eagles” in Lake Isabella. She later retired to live a peaceful life with her husband, friends and furry animals.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bondar, Kathleen Schmidt, Stepparent’s Fred Schmidt, Joan Bondar and brother Michael Bondar. Suzanne is survived by her husband Daniel Hargrove, daughter Trisha (Jose) Aguirre, stepson Rick Hargrove, stepdaughter Sherrie Guerrero, grandchild Tiana Aguirre, step grandchildren Ashley, Rachel, and Zach Hargrove, Jason, and Michael Guerrero, sisters Patricia Yung, Debbie (Carl) Asadurian, Julie (Mike) Miller, brother, John (Vicki) Bondar and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and their families.
Suzanne will most be remembered for being a devoted wife and mother, the strength and rock of her family. In addition to being the strongest woman that anyone could have known, she had a love for life and those who surrounded her. She was an amazing cook, loved and cared for many animals and had a contagious unforgettable laugh.
Services will take place at Halley Olsen Murphy Funeral Home 44831 N Cedar Ave Lancaster CA 93534 on Friday February 9, 2018 at 2:00pm.
