Thomas Valenzuela, 68, died unexpectedly from COVID-19 on November 20, 2021 while at home in Lancaster, CA, with his family. He was born September 11, 1953 in Bakersfield, CA, to Mary and Francisco Valenzuela. Thomas graduated from Tehachapi High School, attended college, and went on to become a heat treater in the Aerospace industry until he retired.
Thomas, AKA Tommy, Tom, and Papa, will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Francisco Valenzuela and his brother Johnny Valenzuela, who all lived in Tehachapi, CA. Thomas is survived by: his brother Richard Valenzuela of Lake Isabella, brother Gilbert Valenzuela of Santa Maria, CA, brother Frank Valenzuela of Palmdale, CA, brother Michael Valenzuela of Lancaster, CA, son Thomas M. Valenzuela, stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, daughter Monica R. Valenzuela of Lancaster, CA, grandson Thomas M. Valenzuela, stationed in Whidbey Island, WA, granddaughter Abigail E. Valenzuela, stationed in Hurlbut Field, FL, granddaughter Gabrielle A. Valenzuela, stationed in San Diego, CA, grandson Mitchell Riggs of Lancaster, CA, grandson Tyler Valenzuela of Lancaster, CA, and grandson Dylan Larsen of Lancaster, CA.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday December 7, 2021, at Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals and Cremations from 12 - 4pm. A reception will follow at the Valenzuela Household for Mr. Valenzuela at 44760 Lowtree Ave, Lancaster, CA 93534.
