IN LOVING MEMORY
Victoria Frances Montano was born on Tuesday, May 10th 1955 in Fresno, California.
To her parents Francisco and Catalina Montano. She departed from this life Friday, June 23rd 2017.
Victoria grew up in Quartz Hill, California. She attended Quartz Hill High School, later going to Job Corps and eventually enrolling in Antelope Valley College to earn her Teaching Credentials.
Victoria Taught as a pre-school teacher at the Fredrick Douglas Head Start Program and Palmdale Head Start, where she was loved by many children, still communicating with her students’ parents. She will always be known to them as “Mrs. Vicky”, Victoria adored her little students.
Victoria and Miguel met in 1975, were later married and had 6 children together, 3 boys and 3 girls. Angela, Lily, Miguel, Camillia, Oscar and Vincente. She had 33 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren who loved her very much. She loved singing, laughing and listening to Oldies with her Kids and Grandkids.
The memories she leaves behind will bring joy and happiness to us all. Victoria will be remembered as a funny, active, supportive and helpful Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother and Grand Mother.
She made the best tortillas, she was an Antique collector and she loved yard sales. Victoria had to have her Hash browns and coffee every morning. Even with her health issues, she still made sure to attend all graduations and family get togethers. She will be deeply missed by all of us who truly love her.
A service will be held by the Family to celebrate Victoria’s Life on Friday July 14th 2017,
